Daisuke Takahashi’s three wishes for 2012
A TV show asked Dai to come up with three personal wishes/resolutions for 2012.
While he was thinking over, Shizuka Arakawa poped in.
Dai: (LOLing) What is she doing here? Maybe she’s looking for some candies.
Dai: (Asking Shizuka what wishes he should come up with)
Shizuka: How about that you want to fit into the boots? (Then she LOLs.) (I have no clue what this means - maybe Shizuka and Dai went shoe shopping together and Dai couldn’t fit into a pair of boots he liked?)
Dai: Oh yeah. How about “I want skinnier legs for 2012?”
Shizuka: But those legs get you to do things, like those awesome steps.
Dai: But my legs are a bit too fat, still.
Finally he comes up with three wishes.
1. I want to land three quads every day.
2. I want to skate clean SP and FS at a same competition, especially at Worlds in March, since I haven’t been able to skate two clean programs together this season, yet.
3. The third one was difficult, I couldn’t come up with something that’s atteinable. So I’m going with something that’s easy - I will not snack between meals. (All LOL.)
